Reflection: This is my very first customer at code.d, which meant I had an idea what colours worked for her.

She recently stepped into her first full-time role and needed a corporate headshot. I wanted to create a makeup look that feels put-together and polished for her line of work, but still young and fresh to match her age and the era we are in — not the usual overly heavy “corporate” look.

She has very, very sensitive skin and usually gets her makeup done professionally because of it. For this session, I decided to stick to my signature natural-elevated makeup approach and took it as a challenge: to create a refined look that photographs beautifully without triggering breakouts or irritation — even after removal.

I’d say this is someone who looks great with minimal blush and would not fit blush blindness or aegyosal trend (for a natural makeup look) so the attention remains on her naturally beautiful eyes, long lashes and lip colouring 😌
